It is not yet known who is responsible for the coronavirus. That definite responsibility may not be known until after years of research, especially because at the moment, the focus is on a vaccine. However, early on, responsibility is being put on the country of China.

Many feel that China held the truth about the impact of the virus silent, still allowing travel and products in and out of the country. Those with this belief feel that these decisions have led the virus to spread all over the world. Along with that, people feel that China has lied about their numbers and feel the country is still battling the virus, despite lifting its lockdown.

A lot of people are aware that the Coronavirus started in China. According to some theories, this started out because of a man who decided that it will be cool to eat bats. The bat that was eaten was unfortunately infected. The man who ate the bat also became infected. Since the virus is actually quite contagious, the man then proceeded to spread the virus to different people that he met.

Some of the people who also became infected may not necessarily have come in contact with the person. The virus can be placed on surfaces and those who would touch the surface and touch their faces will also get infected.

The people are responsible for the spread of the virus. According to reports, the main reason why the virus started is due to the eating of bat soup in Wuhan. It is possible that the bat was carrying the virus. The person who ate the bat became infected and has also infected all of the people that he met, although not necessarily knew.

The virus is highly contagious, so it kept on spreading to various parts of the world as people continued to travel. It took some time before people were able to detect the virus. By that time, a lot of people were already infected, and they did not know about it. Perhaps, the fact that the epicenter is in China is the reason why a lot of people are blaming China for the spread of the virus.

Rumors of a cover-up by the Chinese government in the early days of the coronavirus is causing speculation about China's responsibility in the whole sordid mess. Most of the time, countries like China have sovereign immunity, and governments cannot be taken to court or even held liable regardless of their handling of situations, also when their poor choices affect other nations, as well as their own country.

However, some people are saying that because China's decision to keep silent about the coronavirus led to a domino effect and put the health of other nations in jeopardy, this is grounds for them to be held legally liable.

If a private party such as a hospital or healthcare worker of a chemical company had learned of a potentially lethal and highly contagious disease, and then purposely concealed it from the public, they would inevitably face criminal charges.
