There are sixteen monkey Pokemons. Their names are Slaking, Mankey, Vigoroth, Primeape, Chimchar, Aipom, Slakoth, Ambipom, Simipour, Monferno, Simisage, Infername, Simisears, Panpour, Pansear, and Pansage. The fifth generation of Pokemon's include an additional three Pokemon's which are Yanappu, Baoppu, and Hiyappu.

These Pokemon's are known as elemental monkey's because they are all based on a different type of element of nature. For example Chimchar is the element of fire, hence the inclusion of char in his name. Over time, they evolve into types of stones. Though they physically look like the original Pokemon, they differ in their abilities and they were inspired by monkeys.

There are a lot of Pokemon lovers who just want to try learning more about the different Pokemon that are available. If right now you are interested to learn more about monkeys, then you may become surprised by the number of monkeys that you can find. The most obvious monkey Pokemon is Mankey because of its name, but it will evolve to another monkey Pokemon named Primeape.

Some people, especially those who are new to Pokemon, may think that they are the only monkey Pokemon that are available, but there is still a lot that you can find. Expect that you will also have a lot of fun using Monferno and Primeape.

You may be curious to know more about the different types of monkey Pokemon that you will find in the database right now. Gone are the days when you can only say Mankey as the monkey based Pokemon. There is a lot that you have to know such as Primeape which is the evolved version of Monkey. You should also be familiar with Aimporn, Slaking, Chimchar, Monferno, Infernape, Pansage, Simisage, Panpour, Simipour, and Pansear.

There are a lot of Pokemon that are based on actual animals. The cool thing is even if they have similarities, you will know which ones go together. For example, Mankey is a fighting Pokemon while Panpour is a water Pokemon.

They are formally called elemental monkeys. The name was procured because all of the Pokemon are based on monkeys with a different type (grass, fire, water). All of the monkey pokemon share similar moves, appearance, and identical base stats. They evolve with the corresponding evolution stones, and this is a fan term.

The name, of course, was inspired by monkeys. The elemental share a resemblance to starter pokemon, as they are a triple threat that consists of the elements of grass, fire, and water, and this is a particular type of Pokémon. The elemental monkeys also have the same gender as starter pokemon.
