Some people can become confused with the different terms that can be used that may be related to pregnancy in general. Gestation is the time between the conception of the child and the birth of the child. Pregnancy is known to be the many changes that usually take place in three trimesters.

Pregnancy is known to be divided into three trimesters. They are known to be three months each. Do remember that gestation can be measured from the last time that the woman has had her period. The estimation of dates can be important for the mother especially if she truly wants to know when the fetus was formed.
