There are some people who think that love and passion should go together. To a certain extent, they should go together, but one main difference is that passion is short-lived, while love is supposed to be something that will be felt for a long time.

When you say love, this is known to be a state of living, while when you are experiencing passion, this is known to be a state of being. Passion does not necessarily mean love. Some people experience passionate love, which means that there is an intense way of feeling and longing that you will be with someone that you feel strongly about.

Many people today, both young and old, find it hard to understand the difference between passion and love. Passion and love are both extremely strong feeling, in which people are confused about because there is little difference between them. Passion is a state of being; it is a temporary phase of complete ecstasy and euphoria. Passion doesn’t last forever; it is for a short period of time.

Many people today, both young and old, find it hard to understand the difference between passion
People have a passion for different things like football, learning new skills, education, helping others, etc. Love is a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that range from interpersonal affection. No matter how you argue or have issues with someone you love, everything about the person will be perfect in your eyes. True love is more than just romance and passion. Having a true love for someone means having a deep understanding of that person. Love also lasts forever.

Love and passion are mostly used interchangeably to describe a kind of strong and powerful feeling or emotion towards anything. However, there are some little differences between the two. Love means a strong and caring affection that will have towards another person. Although, there are a lot of ways by which people show their love towards another person, however, the true meaning of love is expressed when someone is ready to love another person unconditionally.

To buttress this, there is a common saying that says true love lasts forever. A lot of things are now being used as yardsticks for expressing love towards another person. On the other hand, passion is not always the best word when describing our strong feeling of affection towards people. Most times, people use word passion when they have a powerful emotion towards something that easily catches your attention. Unlike love, that lasts forever; our passion for anything is usually for a short period of time.
