There are a lot of people who may initially think that an ampoule and vial are the same, but actually, these two are different. The vial may usually come in a bottle or a glass vessel. This can be used to store some sort of valuable liquid, or it may also hold other chemicals. Some use vials in order to hold their perfume in small amounts.
This can be very helpful when traveling. The ampoule is a sealed vial that may not necessarily be made of glass or plastic. The ampoule can be pricked or pinched so that the liquid that is stored inside can be released. This may hold a smaller amount of liquid as compared to the vial.
