A lot of people feel that a cyst and an abscess are similar to each other. A cyst is known to be a type of benign mass. This is full of fluid. The cyst may develop in certain areas, but most of the time that they are harmless. They can only be problematic when they develop in some vital areas. An abscess is known to be similar to a cyst.

They may also vary in sizes so they can be big or small. They can be painful, especially when they develop in various organs. Take note that the abscess can develop when different foreign organisms destroy the tissue. Take note that a cyst and abscess can go together, especially when the cyst becomes infected.
