What is the difference between JavaScript and AJAX?

There are some people who may become a bit confused between JavaScript and AJAX. They usually think that they are the same. JavaScript is known to be effective for client-side operations. AJAX can be used in order to get details from the server that is being used.

Take note that even though they have some differences, AJAX and JavaScript are expected to be used together to ensure that the code can be executed properly. Just imagine if they would not be used, every time a request will be made by the client, the whole page would need to be refreshed. This would take a long time for sure. It will be enough to make clients leave the page.
