Thailand is not exempted from the outbreak of coronavirus as they have over 2,500 infected cases, 38 death cases. Over 1,200 people have recovered from this virus. There are also over 1,200 active cases with 60 in a critical stage.

Thailand, which happens to be close to the country where the virus outbreak started from has shown to have fewer cases of infected persons compared to countries far from china.

The first infected case was confirmed in Thailand on 13 January 2020. Some confirmed cases in early January and other cases in late January are of visitors and residents returning from china. However, the first local case was reported on 31 January, 40 cases confirmed at the end of February, and a sharp increase was reported in mid-March.

Yes, Coronavirus is known to be present in Thailand, although the number of cases there are fewer as compared to some parts of the world. In Thailand, there are about 2,067 cases that are confirmed. About 612 people have recovered so far, and there are 20 people who have died because of the disease. The country is also taking some preventive measures in order to stop the disease from spreading further. The main goal here is to flatten the curve and to ensure that the disease will be removed from the country. It is not only in Thailand that Coronavirus can be found. It can be found in more than 60 countries all over the world.

The reality on the ground is that the novel coronavirus is almost in all countries of the world. This simply means the virus is almost wreaking serious havoc in Thailand. Thailand is an Asian country which simply explains how the coronavirus got into the country since the country is on the continent with China, the country where the coronavirus originated from.

Close to 1000 people have contracted the virus, while a total number of three deaths have been recorded so far. The continuous spreading of this is the reason why the government of Thailand has decided to take serious measures towards putting a stop to the spread of Covid-19.

Part of this measure is the declaration from the Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-Ocha about how the country will be embarking a one month state of emergency, and this is currently bringing every part of the country on lockdown. The outbreak of this disease has caused thousands of death worldwide.
