What would the world look like without any religion?

A lot of people cannot help but wonder how the world would be like without any religion. It cannot be denied that religion has shaped the type of world that we live in right now. Without religion, there is a big chance that there will be no terrorist attacks because people will not believe that those who are not following their type of religion deserve to die.

People may also have more time to do things that may help them become more productive. There will be no reason for people to do some religious rituals that a lot of people find important right now.

At the same time, though, people may not be scared of the moral implications of the things that might be considered to be immoral. There may be no concept of immorality if this occurs.

The world would look extremely different with no religion. One difference is that we would not have an explanation for how we were created and the reason why we are here. Though the different religions may differ on who the creator is, they do all agree in a higher being that is in charge and creates us all.

Another difference would be that their would be little to no influences in society. The various religions play a major part in day to day lives, between how one lives, how they worship, and how they treat others. Without religion, there would be no blueprint to guide people through their everyday lives.

If there were no religions in the world, the world would certainly feel very different. There would have been a total change in the ways we see some things. There would not have been any explanation about the nature of man and some realities of this world, or we would have been forced to believe anything.

For instance, most religions have almost the same stories about how this world came into existence. Also, our society would have looked very different because a lot of other things would be influencing society. Religion is more or less a factor or a determinant about how a society would look like.

For instance, Christianity, as a religion, has various teachings that have helped in shaping any society that promotes religion. Those countries that have Islam as their religion would have looked very different because there are certain things about their religion that make them look very different. Also, what constitutes the belief system of man would be totally different.
