There are a lot of people who may be familiar with different minerals and two of the minerals that people are usually aware of are alabaster and marble. Marble is known to be a type of rock that may have been formed from another type of rock. It has formed because of extreme heat and pressure. Alabaster is known to be translucent.

It also has a tendency to look a bit weak and fragile. If the hardness of these two minerals will be compared, Marble can be considered to be twice harder as compared to the alabaster. Handmade alabaster is known to be very expensive because the color is more natural as compared to those that are made by machines.
