The word cute is normally used in order to describe someone’s charm and attractiveness. The word pretty is used in order to describe someone’s actual beauty. There are times when the word cute is used for kids or babies because they are usually small and cute. Sometimes, cute is also used in order to describe someone who exudes innocence.

The word pretty is normally used when someone is physically attractive on the outside. Some say that that word beautiful may be synonymous with pretty but being beautiful means that someone is beautiful not only on the outside but also on the inside.
