DVD video mode and DVD VR mode are the two things that you can do when you would like to record videos on your DVD player. When you use a DVD video, this means that you are going to record the stream into the DVD format that you want. DVD video will record the stream so that you will have the recording in a standard linear format. If you would use DVD VR, this means that the recording will be in a non-linear format. Another difference is the time-slip capability. The DVD video will not have this option, while the DVD VR will have this option definitely, so this is one thing that you should consider when choosing between the two.
