What is the difference between Orthodox and Unorthodox Jews?

One of the biggest misconceptions of people is assuming that Jews are all the same. There are two kinds of Jews namely the Orthodox and the Unorthodox Jews. They have differences in interpreting the Torah. The Orthodox Jews believe that the Torah contains the word of the Lord and should not be changed. They also have the tendency to interpret the word of the Lord in a literal way. This is different from the unorthodox Jews who believe that there may be other interpretations that the word of the Lord meant. They would have a different understanding of the text as compared to the Orthodox Jews. Another thing is that Orthodox Jews believe that only the Rabis can provide interpretation for the word of the Lord while for Unorthodox Jews, people can create their own personal views about the text.

Some people may assume that it is only the religions that are different from each other, but even within religions, there are some differences that are also obvious. A lot of Jews started out as Orthodox Jews. Back in the 19th century, when a lot of Jews were killed during the Holocaust, the Unorthodox Jews started to emerge after the Holocaust, and they have a different view from the Orthodox Jews. They have different interpretations of the Torah. In Orthodox Judaism, only men are considered to be good enough to hold high positions while women are not allowed at all. There are also some differences in the available practices.
