The origins of wyvern can be traced to Europe. It is usually associated with some species of dragons. It is normally portrayed as a wicked and extremely harmful creature. The primary representation has two legs and a pair of wings, while the other variants like the sea wyvern have something like a fishtail.

Dragons are mythical creatures that are very popular and can be recognized easily. It had a snake-like representation with a major ability to be able to split fire and also being able to fly. Some portray dragons having legs, while some others depict them to have two or more heads.

In terms of appearance, Dragons are bigger and stronger than a wyvern. In some cases, Dragons are portrayed to be able to speak. They are shown to be intelligent creatures, while wyverns are shown as creatures that do not really talk and chose silence as their preference most of the time.
