The port and sherry are two types of wine that are available right now. Port is made from the grapes that are found in Northern Portugal called Duoro Valley. Sherry is also a type of wine, but this is made from white grapes that you can find from a town somewhere in Spain. One of the main differences that you will notice is that Port wine has the tendency to be sweeter.

The texture is also heavier as compared to the other types of wine that you will see. It is usually fortified a bit while it is fermented, which explains why this has a different taste as compared to the other wines that you will see, including the sherry.
