Methodists and Presbyterians are both denominations of Christianity. Methodists believe that all those people who believe in God will be saved. Presbyterians believe that God has already chosen who he wants to save. Methodists believe that people need the grace of God to save them, but they do not seek God on their own, while Presbyterians believe in the Calvinist doctrine of predestination.

John Wesley found the Methodist church in England in 1739. John Knox, a former catholic priest, found the Presbyterian church in 1560. Methodists and Presbyterians both believe in working together (with other denominations) as Christians to spread the word of God across the world.
