A simple definition for egg beaters is that they are products from an egg that contains 99% of egg white and just one percent of added ingredients, which may include preservatives and some other additives. While on the other hand, Egg whites are just the normally white part of a boiled egg, they are also called albumen. They are the part aside from the yolk and the shell.

While egg beaters are extracted from the shell with the use of machines or tools. Egg whites extracted manually from the shell. There are extra nutrients contained in Eggbeaters. The nutrients contained in egg beaters include some of the following Vitamin A, Vitamin B-12, Vitamin E, Vitamin D, and folic acid, so also is riboflavin. Xanthan gum is also present in Eggbeaters. The normal, natural egg whites will only last for about 60 days, while the artificial; egg beaters are observed to have a life span of up to 90 days.
