One of the main differences between the two is the refresh rate of the two. NTSC will have a refresh rate of 60Hz, while Secam’s refresh rate will be 50 Hz. NTSC is known to make use of QAM, while Secam is known to make use of FM.

Another main difference between the two is that NSTC is known to send the red and blue colors together while Secam will be able to send the red and blue colors alternately. One of the things that you can expect with NSTC is that it will have tint control while Secam will not require the use of tint control. Take note that there may also be a difference with the color resolution that will be received.
