There is no big difference between Lucifer and Satan. Both are referring to the same thing. Both words can be used interchangeably, but the word 'Lucifer' also has another meaning apart from the one it shares with Satan. There are so many religions in the world today, and most of them believe in the existence of a supreme being called God. This being is described by most of these religions to be an embodiment of everything that seems good and holy.

Most of these religions also believe in the existence of a being known as Satan. This second being is believed to be a direct opposite of what God represents. Followers of religions like Christianity and Islam believe that Satan is a force that pushes people to go against the will of God. Satan has been called with so many names; they include; Lucifer, Father of lies, prince of darkness. However, Lucifer has another meaning, which is a word formerly used to refer to planet Venus.

None, both exist only in your imagination.
