The cake is a soft, sweet confection that is created from sugar, flour, and other ingredients. It is a dessert item and is regarded as the centerpiece at weddings, birthdays, and special occasions. Basic cake ingredients include milk proteins that coagulate from the oven's heat and help form the structure of the cake. The flour and eggs also play a role in developing the formation of a cake. Some other possible ingredients include cream cheese, sour cream, and buttermilk. Regardless of whether there is frosting on it, a cake is very high in fat and calories. Bread, on the other hand, is said to be "the staff of life." It is made from four main ingredients. These include water, flour, yeast, and salt. These ingredients combine and thus creates a special dough that is kneaded before it is left to rise and then baked. The most common use of bread is to make sandwiches. It is far more nutritious and accessible than cake.
