The best way to distinguish a zebra from a horse is to look at the appearance of both. Zebras are black and white striped, which is most common; however, some zebras are brown and white, while horses are generally a brown color, or they can be solid in either black or white. Zebras are much smaller than horses, and they are also much slower. Horses are used for riding and racing all over the world, while zebras primarily live in Africa, is a species of a wild horse. The bone structure of both animals is different. Zebras have solid tails, unlike horses. Horses use their impressive speed, which they utilize to run away from predators. Zebras can't run fast enough to avoid their predators. Horses also sleep while standing up. Also, horses range in size 1.8 meters, while zebras range in height from 1.2 to 1.5.
