What is the difference between arteriosclerosis and atherosclerosis?

These two conditions may sound the same, but they are different from each other. Arteriosclerosis is the condition wherein the artery walls have hardened or have become stiff. Atherosclerosis, on the other hand, is a type of condition wherein the artery has already started to become narrow because of the build-up of plaque. There are different reasons why plaque may form.
You may be consuming too many fats and cholesterol that they may start to accumulate. In order to prevent these conditions from happening, it is important that you will keep your body healthy. This means that you need to pay more attention to the food that you eat. At the same time, you should also take time to exercise.
