For those who are confused with whether they should choose would or should, you have to remember that would is considered to be the past tense of “will.” If you use would, this means that you want to show that you are interested, that you desire something, or that you would like to request something. When you say should, this means that you are trying to make a prediction.
You are saying that you need to do a certain obligation towards something or someone. This means that when you say it would, it is like you would like to make an action, but when you say should, it is something that you have to do.
