How can you tell if you have been bitten by a bed bug or a mosquito? They may look similar in the beginning, but the more that you know their differences, the more that you will understand how they are supposed to look like. If the bites are all next to each other, you can expect that there are bed bug bites. Mosquito bites are usually random, and you will find them in different parts of your body.

Mosquito bites will also disappear very easily as compared to bed bug bites that can last for quite a while. Mosquito bites are also very itchy. You may notice that they can get very itchy quickly. For the bed bug, you may notice the bump first before you start to feel the itch.

At times, Mosquito and Bed Bug Bites tend to look very similar depending on how your body reacts whenever you are bitten by mosquito or bed bug. One of the major differences between mosquito bites and bed bug bites is that mosquito bites are not always as large as bed bug bites. This is because mosquitoes are relatively smaller than bed bugs.

Mosquito bites will cause your body to be itching you at that very spot, and your displeasure for this sensation will cause you to be scratching the place until the spot starts becoming bigger. At times, without scratching the mosquito bites, they will swell up immediately, while it might take several hours before bed bug bites can begin to swell up.

Mosquito bites can be found on any part of your skin as long as your skin is left uncovered. Bed bug bites are noticed mostly on the stomach and your back as people get easily bitten by bed bugs when they lie down on their bed.
