The notion is known to be the belief or the idea that you may have. There are times when a notion may not entirely be based on facts. It can be based on what you think is right or what you have heard. Myth is something that is not considered to be true. It might be based on stories that people have made up or things that people have said through the years that may not exactly be true.

Sometimes a myth is something that people believed in for a long time before it became presumed to be false. Superstition is based on what people may have believed in based on their experience. There are also new conceptions and ideas that may not necessarily be true, but people believe in wholeheartedly.

The notion is an idea, perspective, belief, someone's opinion, or a theory. The notion could also be said to be conception or an impression of a particular situation, whether real or imagined, whether true or fabricated. Myth is explained as something that is actually untrue or false, which is usually in reference to a known or well-established history or scientific fact.

Many a time it is widely believed or perceived to be true, but then it is false in the real sense. Superstition is an idea or a belief that is generally based on fear, most especially the fear of the unknown. Although notion, myth, and superstition generally are collectively refer to beliefs, conceptions and ideas.

A notion is general in that it refers to an idea whether real or imaginary, whether true or false; myth explains something though in a creative manner, but it is false while a superstition uses supernatural powers to tell events.
