Algebra is a branch of Mathematics, which handles its respective rules. It is a principle we use in our everyday lives, such as problem-solving. It is concerned with different rules and the outcome when operations are obtained from other things, except numbers.

Some examples include abstract, linear, universal, algebraic geometry, and elementary algebra. In algebra, numbers are expressed by symbols, such as x and y. The utilization of symbols is pertinent because it enforces a group of specific laws within each equation.

On the other hand, calculus is a separate branch of mathematics, which involves the function, limits, derivatives, integrals, and infinite series. Calculus is the study of change, so it is an important aspect of the mathematics syllabus. The basic rule that calculus maintains is the rate of change, which helps determine each variable's relationship and its modifications. It has evolved from science, economics, and engineering to biological and physical science, economics, and engineering.

Algebra is one of the branches of mathematics. This branch of mathematics focuses more on the rules of relations and operations and how they can be applied to solve equations. It is also a system of computation that makes use of letters and symbols to represent numbers, with rules to manipulate these symbols. Abstract algebra, elementary algebra, linear algebra, algebraic number system, and universal algebra are some of the categories of algebra. Calculus is another aspect of mathematics that deals with analysis. It comprises of topics such as infinite series, functions, integrals, derivatives, etc. Calculus is a little bit complex compared to algebra and can be seen as a foundation for other advanced mathematical operations and studies. Calculus is broad and is widely used in different areas, especially in economics, computer science, science, engineering, medicine, etc. There are some mathematical problems you cannot solve with algebra without using the concept of calculus.

Algebra is one of the types of math that is said to be very useful in everyday life. Calculus is another type of math that people have to learn in school. The main difference is how complicated calculus is. Calculus will be used in professional fields such as engineering, business, and of course, science. Algebra, on the other hand, is something that you can use when you just want to check the relationship of different numbers with each other. Just remember that you would need to know algebra so that you can start studying calculus. The more that you know the basics, then it will be easier for you to come up with the right answers.
