Scaffold or industrial piercing is a form of body piercing. Scaffold piercing comprises two holes fused by solitary jewelry, most of the time and a barbell. Piercing is typically created through the cartilage on the upper section of the ear, one close to the head and the other farther down on the outer rim.

There is not a difference between scaffold piercing and industrial piercing except for the name. Industrial or scaffold piercing generates pressure between the two holes that are made in the ear.

Many people will get one ear pierced at a time, which is better for the healing process since industrial piercing or scaffold piercing is more complicated than a simple earlobe piercing. It would be best if you always had this piercing done by a professional.

There is no big difference between the scaffold and industrial piercing. The former is just another name for industrial piercing. Both are relatively the same and use a similar method for body piercing. The part of the body where Scaffold or industrial piercing is commonly seen is the upper section of the ear. With scaffold piercing, two holes will be created and will be joined by a long barbell. It is important to know that scaffold or industrial piercing is a painful process. As a result, many people prefer to have one ear pierced at a time instead of having the two ears pierced at the same time. Also, scaffold or industrial piercing can take a lot of time to heal. That is why you need to take good care of it during the healing period to avoid infections. People who go for scaffold piercing are always advised to seek the service of a specialist.

Scaffold and industrial piercing are types of body piercing. People may have some piercings all over their bodies because they would like to express themselves. Some people feel that it is just cool to have more than one piercing. Scaffold and industrial piercing are often considered to be the same. They are meant to be placed on the ear. There are going to be two holes on opposite sides of one ear. There will be a sort of bar that will be placed to make sure that the two holes will not close during the healing process. If you are planning to get this type of piercing, you are recommended to do one ear at a time. It will be hard to get both ears pierced at once.
