The female reproductive system is comprised of two main parts, which include the uterus and the ovary. Vaginal and uterine discharges arise and take place in the uterus. In the uterus, the fertilized egg begins to grow into a fetus, which occurs while egg cells are created in the ovaries. The ovaries also deliver ova or egg cells. Ovulation occurs when ova or eggs are generated in the ovaries.

It is a normal process in which mature ovarian follicles are separated and discharge ova or eggs. It is during ovulation that a mature egg is released by the ovary ready to be fertilized. If there is no conception, the uterine inside layer is shed, and blood will be discharged from the body, and this is known as a woman’s monthly menstrual period.

Ovulation and period are two different terms, although both are processes that occur in the female reproductive system. Ovulation is a term used to explain the formation and release of eggs or ova right from the ovaries. The female reproductive system contains two ovaries. The two ovaries release ova or eggs needed for fertilization. When the eggs are released, they move into the uterus waiting to be fertilized. However, if there is no fertilization after the eggs have been released, the cells from the lining of the uterus and blood will come out of the vagina. This process is known as menstruation or period. Every mature human female experiences this every month until they attain menopause. The length of menstruation is not the same for every woman. However, menstruation can last from two to eight days. Menstruation or period can cause discomfort such as cramps, headaches, pain in women.

When you say ovulation, this is the process wherein the egg is released from your ovaries. The eggs will then wait on your fallopian tubes so that they can be fertilized by a sperm cell. Menstruation is also known as “period.” This is the time when the egg dies because it was not fertilized and the blood would have to go out as a part of the cleanup process that your system undergoes every month.

Take note that you will only get menstruation when you are not pregnant. You will not ovulate when you are pregnant because the egg cell has already been fertilized. You may experience some hormonal imbalances while you are ovulating or while you are on your period.

Ovulation and period are two processes that occur in the female reproductive system. Both processes are not the same, but one must occur before the other can be experienced. Without ovulation, it will be very hard for any woman to experience her monthly menstrual cycle or period. Ovulation simply means the process by which eggs are produced in the ovaries. The ovaries are located in the right and left side of the uterus. Whenever they are produced, they move to the uterus through the Fallopian tubes.

Ovulation and period are two processes that occur in the female reproductive system. Both processes
Ovulation usually occurs every 14 days, and ovulation usually lasts for 5 days. Period, on the other hand, refers to the periodic discharging of the flow of blood and cells coming from the lining of the uterus in females. After ovulation, eggs move into the uterus, waiting to be fertilized. However, if this fails to happen, the lining of the uterus, together with the unfertilized eggs, will come out.
