The average pay scale of the women in Ireland is still far less as compared to what the men in Ireland are earning. There are a lot of women right now that are studying in the universities and colleges of Ireland, but when it comes to getting the top academic positions, the positions will still be given to men even if there are also some women who maybe even more qualified than men.
According to some reports, the pay that men get is about 13% more than women for the same positions that they are holding. This means that women in Ireland are getting so much less than what they deserve, especially given their capabilities and skills.
