The literacy rate of Ireland has been on 99% since the late 20th century through the 21st century. The rate of literacy is what is well taken every 5 years interval, and still find Ireland being a great country of high literacy. This simply means 99 percent of the country's populace can read and write. This is awesome! I can say the level of literacy is one major key that helps the development of a nation. Information can be easily passed across, and easily comprehended simply due to this high level of literacy.

Illiteracy can actually, but literacy can help avert death. My own quotes though! Although Ireland is not the country with the highest level of literacy, but it has really contributed greatly into making her populace well educated. Over 50,000 adults attend literacy courses in the country. There is an adult literacy service that has been responsible for this, and of which some are just rendering the service for humanity. No pay!
