The podcast is an audio program produced on a regular basis that is delivered over the Internet in a compressed digital format and designed for playback on computers or portal digital audio players. The name “Podcast” came from the blend of 2 works: iPod (Pod) and broadcasting (casting)

Users can pull audio files from podcasting websites. Android users can get to listen to podcasts from the Google Play Music, and the podcast app on iOS makes it easy for Apple users to access the podcast.
In most cases, podcasts are free. After you subscribe to a podcast, you will be notified, and you will get new editions of the podcast. In some situations, you might have to pay to access older editions of the podcast.

A podcast is a series of episodic audio files that the listener can download and hear. Podcasting often uses a subscription model, in which new episodes routinely downloaded through web syndication to the listener's computer, mobile device, or portable audio player. The podcast is delivered to the audience through audio format.

Videos shared following a podcast model are often referred to as video podcasts, blogs, or vodcasts. Essentially, a podcast is a popular free service that allows the user to pull from an MP3 file. The name podcast comes from a blending of the words iPod (a personal device that plays music made by Apple and broadcasting.)
