What is Stock Android?

Stock android is also known as vanilla or pure Android, and the name is synonymous with its simplicity. Stock android is the simplest version of the operating system created and designed by Google. It's a stable version of Android, which means device manufacturers have installed it as it is. Stock android only retains the features established by google.

Stock Android has many benefits over modified versions of the Os. The owners of Samsung, LG, and other smartphones usually take time to get an update, and this is not the case with Stock android. It also doesn't come installed with pre-installed apps made by the manufacturer that you won't use.
