It will be hard to reverse prediabetes, but it does not mean that this is impossible. One of the things that you can do is to become more physically active. You need to start exercising more. When was the last time that you have made an effort to exercise? You need to make an effort to keep moving even if most of the time, you are just at work, in front of your computer.

Another thing that you can do is to become more conscious of the food that you eat. Stay clear from eating food products that are not good for you. You may only end up getting even more excess sugar that may worsen your condition and make it diabetes. If you are overweight, you are required to lose a certain amount of weight. Maintaining a healthy weight can make you less likely to become diabetic.

As you may know, prediabetes is a condition when your blood sugar level is on the high side, higher than normal, but not high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes. This condition is caused by insufficient production of insulin or your body resistance to insulin. The good thing is that prediabetes can be reversed. With treatment and proper lifestyle modification, the condition can be reversed. There are some natural ways to reverse prediabetes. This includes Exercise – when you exercise, your body takes more glucose from the body, your body doesn’t need much insulin for this. Exercise helps reduce blood glucose levels. Weight loss – if you are obese or overweight, weight loss can be very helpful to reverse prediabetes. Get on a weight program and shed some weight. This will further reduce your risk of progressing to diabetes. Follow a healthy diet – changing your diet to food that suits your present state can be helpful in reversing prediabetes. Eat more vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, and fruits can be helpful.
