How did America become a superpower?

No doubt, the United States of America is arguably the greatest country in the world, and the country has been able to achieve this fit because of some historical events that happened in the past. First, the United States was able to conquer so many territories without so much opposition, particularly towards North America. Also, the little barriers that were encountered when they were trying to acquire more land became nothing after the civil war, so it became very easier for the US to get more landmass, and this has actually reflected in their population.

Also, during World War I, which the US actively took part in, the US was a powerful force, and the country played a vital role in ending the war. The aftermath of World War II was not so much on America, but other countries were greatly after. Due to this development, the US improved its economy as the country was the one supplying goods and other materials to the affected regions. The US military is the most powerful on earth, and it has a number of military bases in different countries of the world.
