It all begins with a base of tea, which we make with our gourmet loose leaf teas. Then we apply flavorings and sweeteners. A creamy portion, such as milk, almond milk, or non-dairy creamers, is added to a Milk Tea. Clear Teas are just that: clear teas with no cream applied. When all of the ingredients are combined, the drink is vigorously shaken! This makes the drink frothy, giving it the appearance of bubbles on top... hence the term bubble tea.

Bubble tea is a type of drink that has originated in Taiwan. A lot of people are not aware that this has been around since the 1980s. The recipe for this drink would contain the type of tea that the drinker prefers, different types of toppings that would again depend on the preference of the drinker.

The most popular topping is the tapioca pearls, but there are also some other toppings that people can place such as fruit jelly, grass jelly, aloe vera, and pudding. This type of drink is usually served with ice to make it refreshing and thirst-quenching. Most bubble teas are purchased in actual stores, but some people choose to create their own teas at home.

Bubble tea is a Taiwanese tea-based drink that was invented in Asia, specifically in Tainan and Taichung. It became popular in the 1980s. Contrary to its name, there are actually no bubbles found in bubble tea. It will interest you to know that the term "bubble tea" is a reference to the milk froth that forms when you shake the drink, not the chewy pearls in the drink that look like bubbles.

Recipes are made from tea, fruit, coffee, or milk. It also has toppings known as “pearls,” which are made from chewy tapioca pearls, fruit jelly, agar jelly, or grass jelly that sit at the bottom. The bubble tea is categorized into two: Tea without milk and milk tea. You can have any of these as this is based on your preference.
