The Eskimoes are mostly known to be living in the igloo houses. Checking the name 'igloo,' it is actually derived from the Eskimoes language 'iglu.' Iglu simply means house in their language. The Eskimoes are known to be widely involved in building the igloo houses. Thus, the name is given to the house -Igloo- in accordance with their language. The Inuit, which is also referred to as Eskimoes, dwell in the part of the world where there is much snow. They usually build Igloo houses for protection against cold during the winter period.

They enter this house in order to keep themselves warm, and they can even start there for days. Nevertheless, it is not only the Inuits that dwell or live in the igloo house. There are hunters that also hunt animals in the snowy area. These hunters also use one or more days inside the igloo house, especially when they are far away from home. They just stay there to spend the night, rest, or relax there.
