Napoleon did not die from a battle, although he suffered greatly when he failed to win during the battle in Waterloo. This was his second attempt to revive his army, and it became apparent that he would never get a third. It seems that he was heartbroken when he realized that the people in the area are already against him. Even the legislature has turned against him.

There were a lot of speculations about his death. Some people said that he died of arsenic poisoning. Experts have started to research his actual cause of death, and according to results, he died from an advanced case of gastric cancer.

The Battle of Waterloo is one of the most significant battles in history because, during this battle, Napoleon suffered his greatest and final defeat. It is important to note that Napoleon did not die in the battle. After he was defeated at Waterloo, Napoleon returned to Paris and found that the people had turned against him.

The Prussian troops had received orders to capture napoleon dead or alive. Napoleon tried all possible means to escape to the United States, but the British blocked every port. Napoleon finally surrendered to Captain Frederick Maitland on 15 July 1815. The British exiled Napoleon to the island of Saint Helena in the South Atlantic, where he died six years later.
