There are two main types of tourism, but there are different forms of tourism. These various forms of tourism are determined by nature or the reason behind your visit to a tourist center. International and domestic tourism are the two major types of tourism. International tourism means you are traveling out of your country to explore or to visit tourist centers in a foreign country. This type of tourism can be further divided into two; inbound and outbound tourism.

Domestic tourism refers to all tourism activities that are being done in a country. When you move from your state to another state in the same country, it is called domestic tourism. There are different forms of tourism that can be classified under the two types of tourism; they are; Medical tourism, Sex tourism, Industrial tourism, Sports tourism, Wildlife tourism, Cultural tourism, Recreational tourism, Adventure tourism, Environmental tourism, Music tourism, etc.

Different types of tourism can be categorized depending upon specific variables. These include the length of stay, distance traveled, mode of transport, and purpose of the trip. The price paid by tourists also accounts for some of it. International tourism, long-distance tourism, domestic tourism, and short distance tourism are the four major types of tourism. Domestic tourism is considered to travel to different parts of the country.

There is no need to be concerned about taking a passport, visa, or conversion of coins. International tourism is crossing the boundaries of many countries, the use of different currencies, and embarking on learning a different language. Long-distance tourism is going on vacation, traveling by car, and it could be from state to state. Short distance tourism is moving about within the same city. It’s usually within miles of the destination.

Tourism refers to the act of traveling or sightseeing, particularly away from one’s home. Tourism is one of the fastest-growing industries. Tourism can be classified into two main types. These are Domestic and international tourism. In domestic tourism, people travel within their own country for sightseeing. This is a much easier form of tourism as there is no need for formal travel documents and formalities. International tourism is a type of tourism where people travel out of their home country to visit tourist sites.

In order to travel to another country, you need a valid passport, visa, health documents, and foreign exchange. International tourism is further divided into two categories, which are: inbound and outbound tourism. Inbound tourism refers to the activities of a tourist outside his or her home country. For instance, an Indian tourist traveling from India to France is inbound tourism to France. Outbound tourism refers to the activities of a tourist when a tourist leaves his or her country to visit another one. For Indian tourist that travels from India to France is an outbound tourist to India.
