Population growth can be a good or bad thing. When it comes to overpopulation, population growth can be very harmful to the region, as well as the people that live in the region. However, it can be controlled by implementing certain policies. One is to help farmers — the more people that are in a region, the more food that is needed.
By helping farms with irrigation and the production of food, it can help with population growth by feeding all of the people in the region. Along with helping farms, support for different technologies also need to be implemented in aid for food production.

There are many different approaches to arrive at solutions to population growth. Helping farmers with irrigation and production of crops and livestock will aid in food production. Statistics indicate that food production must double by 2050 to meet the demand of the world's growing population.
Adequate attention to this issue needs to be afforded to support research on the integration of traditional and modern technologies for food production. Also, some countries and rural areas do not have enough water, which can negatively affect people’s health. Our planet has only so much water, and we need to conserve it for our sake and the sake of future generations.

The thing about overpopulation is there are many possible solutions that people can do to solve it, but most people are also very stubborn, so they would rather not do it. The first possible solution is education. Studies show that the more educated people are, the more that they know details about birth control and how they can control the number of children that they have.
Those who are not too educated may try to have as many children as they can because they do not know the possible consequences. Another solution is to get rid of poverty. When people have enough money in order to live comfortably, they will have the ability to plan the next things that they are going to do. There are so many things that comfort can do to people. There is also a need to spread awareness so that people will know that they always have a choice.
