Nintendo Wii is a video game console manufactured by Nintendo, and it was released 19th November 2006. Nintendo Wii has 573 (total of 1222) more available games compared to the Gamecube. The Wii game console is DLNA certified, and Gamecube is not.

Nintendo stopped producing Nintendo Wii game console in October 2013, after 7 years of the first release.

Nintendo Gamecube is also another home game console produced by Nintendo. It was released on the 14th of September, 2001.

Nintendo Gamecube has 649 games. It succeeded the Nintendo 64. Gamecube does not have Wi-Fi access, and it also lacks an external memory slot.

Nintendo discontinued the production of Gamecube in 2007. Five years after the maiden launch.

The chiefNintendo'se between the two is their age as the Gamecube is the predecessor of the Wii. Production of Gamecube has been discontinued since 2003, and no new units are available for it. The Wii is still Nintendo's modern console, and it comes with a plethora of games with a lot more popular titles.

The Wii is infamous for it's perfectly constructed motion controller, which depends mostly on the motion of the player rather than the key presses. This application forces the player to get out of his or her seat to play the game. The games are far more relatable on the Wii. Also, Gamecube is much bigger than the Wii.
