Zune HD is Microsoft's first touch screen portable media player, which includes an HD radio tuner and an organic light-emitting diode touch screen. It is considered to be a significant competitor to Apple's own iPod Touch. Zune HD is the first compact Media Player to showcase a built-in HD radio receiver, OLED display, high def video output, and Wi-Fi.

The Multi-touch OLED screen comes with an aspect ratio of 16.9. The Zune HD will support video playback externally through an HDMI based docking station. The most significant advantage of Zune HD over an iPod Touch is that it has a radio that possesses remarkable sound quality.
