Bigg Boss is not a scripted reality show, but there has been much debate on whether it is on not. Like many reality shows, it may seem scripted because some of the instances may be too good to be true, such as the confrontations and fights.

Though not scripted, producers may setup certain situations that they know will lead to a reaction. After all, the purpose of reality shows is to entertain. Along with that, the public is able to vote on who stays and who goes in the house. Many people debate this as well, but producers of the show stand by the fact that it is not scripted.

I love to code. I believe everything is programmed in a certain way to make it work. From human brains to every single command in the machines.

No one knows for sure; however, Bigg Boss is almost undoubtedly all scripted, in my opinion. The daily bouts amongst the contestants seem to be 100 percent scripted. Contestants are generally required to be unkind to each other for the sole purpose of generating ratings and increasing the TRP of the show.

Everybody's lines are fixed right from the start, and the victor is known to the crew even before the show goes on air. Often, evictions are said to be plotted out regardless of how the audience votes.

If anyone still thinks that Bigg Boss is not a scripted reality show, then the person needs to look closely into how the television show was done in the last season. Though the excellent work of those who are running the show might make you think it is real, a lot of things are suggesting otherwise. The way housemates are being evicted is a confirmation that Bigg Boss is only meant for those who are adding to the reality show. Forget the trick that the decision as to who stays in the house is with the public.

To me, the voting aspect of the show is just a way of getting money from the public and a subtle way to make everything looks real. If you can't entertain people and act the drama as you should, the end is clearly knocking. I think this thing is very easy to figure out. The host of the show wants an audience, so the only way to get the needed audience is to be doing what people want, and that's why you see actors acting inappropriately before the camera.

There is a running debate about whether or not Bigg Boss is scripted or not. After a brief inquiry with some ex-contestants, they all agreed that the show is not scripted at all.

However, putting contestants who do not like each other. They are on opposing teams to perform copious and menial tasks so that they can fight more, certainly alludes to the notion that the show is indeed scripted. Also, season eight is quite obviously biased in favor of Gautam Gulati. Bigg Boss Khabri is openly favoring Gulati in her blogs.
