Halal is an Arabic word that refers to anything that is permissible. It is a general word for what is permissible to eat, to watch, and to consume in Islam. The opposite of this term is “haram,” which means anything that is forbidden.

For example, consuming beef is Halal, but consuming pork is considered Haram. Zabiha is a more specific term that refers to meat that is permissible to eat in Islam. It refers to meat that has been slaughtered by Islamic standards.

For instance, even though beef is considered Halal, it must be slaughtered by Islamic guidelines unless it is considered Haram. In summary, Halal is the Arabic term for things permissible, and Zabiha is referring to consumable meat slaughtered by Islamic standards.

Zabiha is believed the most appropriate and correct way to slaughter animals for consumption. Zabiha is the way that distinguishes how the animals must be killed humanely. Halal is deemed to be valid and lawful as per Islamic beliefs. It is believed to be the most sympathetic method of animal slaughter. The Muslims actively follow the teachings of the Quran, and as per the Quaran, all living things deserve respect and kindness.

While slaughtering, it is guaranteed that the animal does not feel any pain or anguish. Halal is a compassionate way to slaughter animals. As per Shariah, Muslims have only to eat Halal meats, and every slaughter plant must adhere to obligations enacted by the Halal certifier. In Zabiha, animals are slaughtered with a swift and deep cut. The preparation of animals for human consumption is built upon several commandments of the Islamic conditions.
