Should I watch IMDb ratings before watching anything?

This will be based on your personal preference to either watch IMDb rating before watching anything or to ignore the rating. While many consider the ratings on IMDb helpful, many others see the rating as an unfair way to rate movies, TV series, game and online stream content. IMDb provides personalized recommendations to help you discover TV series and movies that you may love.

However, since ratings are made based on an average ratings made by registered users of IMDb, the basis of rating movies can be flawed. Keep in mind those registered users on IMDb make this ratings based on their personal view of a movie which may not be the case for you if you see the same movie.
