The best episode of Black Mirror is San Junipero, the fourth episode of the third series. This was a movie that was shot when Black Mirror moved to Netflix, and it seemingly came out to be the best, among others. This episode took a different approach compared to the other episodes. "San Junipero" is the fourth episode in the third series of Black Mirror. It premiered on October 2016 with the rest of season three. The episode takes place in a beach resort town named San Junipero. The town is part of a simulated reality which the elderly reside in, even upon their imminent death. The music in this episode represents the 1980's.

This episode might have a bit of a predictable premise in which the socially awkward girl meets the outgoing girl, but it is outstanding. The episode has received substantial critical acclaim, mainly because of these two actresses who portray these polar opposite characters. The episode also has a satisfying and surprising plot twist, and it is visually appealing. It also has higher critical ratings than the show's other episodes. This particular episode won two Primetime Emmy Awards.
