Sport can be considered to be an art as it is well related to the art field. Art can be said to be the application or expression of skills and creativity, most especially, physically. This is very related to sport. Sport is just an expression or application of one's physical skills and creativity. Beholding a closer perspective about sport, it also involves design. There is a lot about the sport, if not all, that expresses or defines art. In the modern-day sport, several components of the sporting arena deal with designs. Examples are- the jerseys, balls, boots, and a few others. This also illustrates how art and sport relate closely together.

The branches of art have a big illustration they make in the world of sport. As much as a sport is concerned, music, colors, dances, as branches of art, now have their essentials in sport, and they have the important roles they play. Color is an important thing in sport, as it helps in identifying the different sides. Music and dance are now part of sport nowadays. Sport is just simply art.
