What new feautres do android 10 have as compared to Android pie?

The launch of the latest operating system, Android 10 from Google to the public, has shown that there are some noticeable differences between the latest operating system and the former operating system, Android pie. Android 10 has some features that cannot be seen or enjoyed on Android 9. One of these features is 'Dark mode.'

The dark mode on Android 10 makes the screen looks black, and the text or whatever it is on the screen to appear white. I think this new feature is aimed at reducing the amount of light that enters into the eyes of those who spend hours on their phones. This feature is not present on Android 9. Another feature that can be noticed is that the intelligence of the messaging app in Android 10 has been increased, in that your phone can suggest an appropriate answer for any message you receive. Battery consumption of Android 9 is high compared to that of Android 10.

Google has an official dark theme on android. There is a new gesture-based navigation system. You can alter the color highlights in android 10, making the interface more personalized. With this attribute, the quick settings tiles in the notification drawer and accents in the settings menu will change color.

The colors vary from orchid to cinnamon. With the new gesture navigation system, there is a new drawer peek system for apps with slide-out menus. Focus mode enables the user to turn off notifications for specific apps. The new Android ten will have a system-wide dark theme, sound amplifier, improved notification controls, live caption, and privacy enhancements.

For Android 9 Pie, if you wish to view the recently opened apps, you swipe upwards from the pill located at the bottom of the screen. There is a back button at the bottom of the screen, which is replaced by using a side-swipe gesture in Android 10.

In the Android 9 Pie, there were specific elements with the dark mode settings panel and some others. In the new Android 10 version, the system has a dark theme along with some apps you have selected. Also, if you have facilitated battery savings mode, dark mode is enabled by default. Also, Google Chrome and Gmail will be available with a dark theme very soon.
