looks like this question is confusing and it will confuse the candidate. According to my research, I figured that adirect writer also called acaptive agent.can you please take a look?

Direct writer

C is correct. In the direct writer system, the insurers agents are actually employees. They can receive a salary, be paid on commission, or both.
