If in case you are not too familiar with these terms, these are known to be certifications that may be needed by people. CCDA stands for Cisco Certified Design Associate. CCDP stands for Cisco Certified Design Professional, and CCDE stands for Cisco Certified Design Expert. Some people refer to these three as the levels of certifications that you may need to qualify for certain jobs.

Out of the three, the CCDA is the certification that you should acquire first. You cannot apply for CCDP unless you have already acquired the CCDA certification. You also cannot apply to get the CCDE certification unless you have already passed the CCDP. Take note that getting these certifications will require a lot of time and effort to accomplish.

CCDA is the acronym for Cisco-Certified Design Associate, CCDP stands for Cisco-Certified Design Professional and CCDE is the acronym for Cisco-Certified Design Expert. These three terms refer to certification systems for individuals that are knowledgeable on Cisco products. Therefore, they are not the same. Cisco is the leader in networking technologies in our world today. These three Cisco certificates differ in their level complexity. It is expected that an individual starts with CCDA, then CCDP and finally progress to CCDE.

An individual with CCDA certificate is able to design a Cisco converged network. This person is expected to be able to design routed and switched network for business. CCDA is the basic level of comprehension of Cisco devices. An individual with CCDP is expected to be able to design and implement addressing and routing complex networks. After this is CCDE, a person with CCDE certificate is expected to be able to design large and advanced networks.

CCDA, CCDP, and CCDE are all known to be very complicated. These three are known to be certifications that people need to undergo to show their expertise. The CCDA certificate means that the person will be able to design and switch networks.

The CCDP certificate means that the person has all of the capabilities stated in the CCDA plus the skills and knowledge needed to design routing for the various complex networks that are available. CCDE can be used to address and assess different architectures to make sure that growth and expansion will be done effectively. Take note that you cannot take CCDE before passing CCDA and CCDP.

In order to understand the differences between these things, it will be helpful to understand what these things mean. CCDA stands for Cisco-certified Design Associate. CCDP means Cisco-certified Design Professional and CCDE means Cisco-certified Design Expert. These are all known to be very complex. CCDA is the one that is considered to be in the bottom rung so it does not require any prerequisites before it can be taken.

Once you have finished the CCDA, that it is the time when you can start learning more about the CCDP. If you have already passed the CCDP, that is the time when you can start learning more about the CCDE. Take note that CCDE will also have practical exams while the CCDA and CCDP will not have any.
