The correct answer to this question is 25.5%. Out of all fifty states in the United States, Tennessee, is one of the least diverse states. Its population mainly consists of whites, with 77.79% residents of the state being white. The top race in the state is African Americans, with 16.79%.

The third is those with two or more races, also known as biracial. For example, a person with a white father and a black mother would be biracial and fit in this category. There is about 2.08% of the Tennessee population that is biracial. From there, the residents are Asian, Native American, and Hawaiian.
